As we begin our journey into Ancient Civilizations, we are talking about archaeologist, the artifacts they unearth and the process they go through to make sense of the past. Last week, our class was "Thinking Like a Historian". They had 6 stations which contained various "artifacts". At each station, they had to evaluate the artifacts and answer the 5-W questions: who, what, where, when and why. They also had to identify any unanswered questions they had about the artifacts. Overall, the students really enjoyed the activity and are beginning to think like historians! Let the adventures begin!
