In 6th grade Social Studies, students had the opportunity to see Veterans Day from a different perspective. Students viewed videos related to honor flights, Washington D.C. monuments and memorials, and dignified transfers. Students also learned about the origins of Veterans Day, the ways we celebrate it, and the branches of the military. Students and staff want to say "Thank You!" to all our family and friends who have served, or are serving, in the United States military. We appreciate the sacrifices you have made for all of us. You truly are heroes!
