The boys basketball teams went to Coal City last night for games against the Warriors.
The 7th graders won 31 - 27 with Karson Pina scoring 8 points, Tyson Reints and Griffin Dodson each scoring 7, Johnny Gonzalez had 5 and Tyler Myers 4. The 7th grade team is now 6 - 2.
The 8th graders lost 38 - 34 with Ameire King scoring 11 points, Mason Dronenberg 7, Tyler Beebe and Conner Mackinson had 4 each, Darcell Gerth and Ryland Stewart each had 3, and Antonio Pina had 2 points. The 8th grader team is now 3 - 5.
The Warriors play Metcalf tonight at home with the 7th graders starting at 4:30 pm and the 8th graders slated for 5:30 pm.
