Students learned about the mummification process the ancient Egyptians used when preparing bodies for burial. After discussing the process, students mummified an apple and designed a sarcophagus cover. One week into the drying process, the apples are a little squishy and turning brown. We will check them in another week and see if they are continuing to dry out.
