The 7th Grade Volleyball Team played a great match in Lexington, losing in 3 sets 19-25, 25-23, 21-25. Scoring for PJHS was Chloe Dearth with 10 points, Adelyn Frazier and Maya Ray with 5 points each, Kaeloni Jones and Ella Huncovsky with 4 points each, and Sophie Shepherd with 3 points.
On Saturday, the Warriors beat St. Mary's 25-21, 25-20 and followed that up with a win against Woodland 25-19, 25-16. They then lost to Cornell 14-25, 21-25. Scoring on the day were Ella Huncovsky with 13 points, Maya Ray 12, Adelyn Frazier and Sophie Shepherd with 10 points, Chloe Dearth 8, Kaeloni Jones 6, Claire Elliott with 2, and Brooklyn Gray with 1.
On Monday, the Warriors fell to Epiphany 21-25, 16-25. Chloe Dearth and Ella Huncovsky each had 5 points, Kaeloni Jones 4, Maya Ray 2, and Adelyn Frazier 1.
Last night at Prairie Central, the Warriors lost 16-25, 5-25. Adelyn Frazier scored 4 points, Ella Huncovsky 2, and Chloe Dearth 1.
Their next game is Thursday, February 30th at Dwight at 4:30 pm.
The 7th Grade record is now 5-4.
