Last week the 7th Grade Volleyball team lost to El Paso-Gridley in two sets, 24-26, 11-25. Scoring for the Warriors were Sophie Shepherd with 7 points, Chloe Dearth with 5 points, Ella Huncovsky with 4, May Ray with 2, and Addie Frazier with 1 point. The 7th Grade record is now 9-9.
The 7th and 8th Graders then played a B match in which Liyah Childs scored 4 points, Brooklyn Albertson 2, and Avery Gipp 1.
The 8th Graders then lost to El Paso-Gridley in two sets 20-25, 18-25. Scoring was Peyton Richardson with 5 points, Maddie Haan, Callie Molinero, and Katelyn Taylor with 4 each, and Liyah Childs, Kenzie Fetgatter, and Kinsley Hamilton with 1 point. The 8th Grade record is now 4-10.
The teams play again tonight starting at 4:30 pm for the 7th grade and 5:30 for the 8th Grade. It is 8th Grade night for the girls.
