Ms. Alcozar has been leading the 6th grade Social Studies classes down an exciting journey through Ancient Greece. Students have been learning about the city-states of Athens and Sparta by researching the governments, economy, education, and the rights of citizens and non-citizens. They have done independent work, group work, and fishbowl activities to prepare arguments to support why their city-state is the best. Today we are wrapping up this research with lively debate! May the strongest arguments win!
