All Three Pontiac Junior High Wrestlers Will Make Medal Round at State!
Exciting news for Pontiac Junior High School’s wrestling team! All three of the Warriors who qualified for the state tournament are set to compete for a medal later this afternoon.
Leo Voigts, competing at 70 pounds, will wrestle in the third-place match.
Jack Voigts, at 112 pounds, is also aiming for third place in his weight class.
Braden Opperman, at 126 pounds, has advanced to the championship match and will compete for the state title.
Regardless of the outcomes, all three wrestlers will return home with a state medal, showcasing their hard work and determination.
