For the month of December, there will be a mixed bag of activities for PE. We will begin the month by finishing our Dance and Tag Unit. We will use the remainder of the month to play several "winter themed" games. We will focus on using teamwork and improving our movement skills while handling an object like a ball.
January will be Floor Hockey month at Lincoln! Since this will be the Second grade's introduction to Floor Hockey, we will focus on the safety and skills of the game. Third graders will move towards gameplay at the end of the unit, since they have some previous experience.
