On March 13th 2020, following COVID guidelines, Pontiac429 School District 429 moved to a remote learning environment. In order to stay constructive and continue providing content for our student body our StreamTeam created a (Student / Community Involvement Project). The goal of the project was to expand on their daily morning announcements. This allowed the team to reach out to key members of our community and provide content that otherwise would not be available during their normal routine. The local community responded with content above and beyond our student's original requests. Thank you to all Students/Staff/and Community for helping ease the COVID experience and providing to an un-expected collaboration from Students-to-Community.

I'm Michael McCabe (Technology Director) from Pontiac429.

Since the beginning of COVID-19 our staff has been working to maintain a connection with our younger community.

We've created a daily video series on our Pontiac429 YouTube Channel where staff are recording reading time, art, and general activities giving our 1500 student body relate-able content. The video series is about maintaining a connection, and providing something else for our students to focus on.

So we're reaching out to the community. We're looking for a 5-10min video showing a routine, maintenance, or daily life that could be informational. The students are eager to see any behind the scenes of our community in operation.
